Terms & Conditions

The agreement that governs your access to and use of the PureStora marketplace — what we promise, what you agree to, and how we resolve issues together.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of PureStora (www.purestora.com). The Website is owned and operated by PureStora.

By accessing, using, or shopping on the PureStora website, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, please stop using the website immediately.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the website, including buyers, sellers, and all other visitors. The terms “you,” “your,” and “user” refer to anyone accessing or using the website in any capacity.

Definitions

  • “Platform” or “Website” — The PureStora website (www.purestora.com) and all associated applications, services, and features.
  • “User” — Any person or entity accessing the Platform.
  • “Buyer” or “Consumer” — A user purchasing products on the Platform for personal use.
  • “Seller” — A registered user offering and selling products on the Platform.
  • “Products” — Goods offered for sale on the Platform by Sellers.
  • “Content” — All text, images, videos, graphics, product descriptions, reviews, and other materials on the Platform.
  • “Intellectual Property” — Trademarks, logos, copyrights, patents, and other proprietary rights.
  • “Terms and Conditions” — This entire agreement and all policies referenced herein.
  • “Grievance” — Any complaint, issue, or concern raised by a user regarding the Platform or transactions.
Section 03

Your eligibility to use this website

3.1 Age and Legal Capacity

To use the Platform, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
  • Be legally able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law
  • Not be a person under any legal disability
  • Have the full authority to accept these Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself or your organisation

3.2 Representation of Eligibility

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all the above eligibility criteria. PureStora may refuse service to anyone who does not meet these requirements.

3.3 Account Suspension

If any of these eligibility criteria are not met, PureStora reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform immediately.

Section 04

Account registration and responsibility

4.1 Registration Requirements

If you create an account on the Platform, you must:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information
  • Choose a username and password that are unique and confidential
  • Keep your password secure and do not share it with anyone
  • Notify PureStora immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
  • Accept full responsibility for all activities conducted under your account

4.2 Your Responsibility

You are entirely responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities occurring under your account, whether or not authorised by you
  • Ensuring that all information provided is accurate and truthful
  • Notifying PureStora of any unauthorised use of your account

4.3 False Information

Providing false, misleading, inaccurate, or incomplete information during registration is a breach of these Terms and Conditions and may result in:

  • Immediate account suspension or termination
  • Loss of access to the Platform
  • Potential legal action
  • Liability for damages caused by false information
Section 05

Product browsing and purchasing

5.1 Product Information

As a Buyer, you have the right to:

  • View complete and accurate product information, including descriptions, images, and specifications
  • Know the seller’s name, address, and contact details
  • Understand all pricing, including taxes and delivery charges
  • Review the seller’s return and refund policies before purchase
  • Access the seller’s ratings and customer reviews

5.2 Product Accuracy

All product information must accurately represent the actual product. If you receive a product that does not match the description or image on the Platform, you are entitled to:

  • Return the product within the specified return period
  • Receive a full refund
  • File a complaint with PureStora’s Grievance Officer

5.3 Out of Stock

PureStora and Sellers are not responsible for orders placed for out-of-stock products. In such cases, the order may be cancelled and a full refund issued.

5.4 Pricing

  • All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR)
  • Prices are inclusive or exclusive of taxes as specified on the product listing
  • PureStora is not responsible for pricing errors displayed by Sellers
  • In case of pricing errors, PureStora may cancel orders at its discretion and issue refunds

Payment and transactions

6.1 Payment Methods

The Platform accepts payment through secure, encrypted payment gateways, including:

  • Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Debit Cards
  • UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
  • Digital Wallets
  • Net Banking
  • Other methods as notified on the Platform

6.2 Payment Security

  • All payment information is encrypted and processed through PCI DSS-compliant gateways
  • PureStora does not store your payment card details on its servers
  • You are responsible for keeping your payment information confidential

6.3 Failed Payments

If your payment fails:

  • Your order will not be confirmed
  • No amount will be debited from your account
  • You can retry the payment or choose a different payment method
  • If you were charged in error, contact our customer care for a refund

6.4 Payment Confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation email and SMS after successful payment. Keep this confirmation for your records.

6.5 Refund Policy

Returns and refunds are governed by:

  • The individual Seller’s stated return policy
  • The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
  • PureStora’s Refund & Cancellation Policy (posted separately on the Platform)

If a product is defective or misrepresented, you may request a refund through the Platform’s grievance mechanism.

Section 07

Delivery and shipping

This section summarises PureStora’s delivery and shipping commitments. Full details are set out in our dedicated Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7.1 Order Processing & Dispatch

  • In-stock orders are packed and dispatched within 1–2 working days from order confirmation.
  • Made-to-order or back-ordered items are dispatched within up to 10 working days; the product page indicates this lead time.
  • Multi-vendor orders may ship in separate parcels; each shipment is tracked independently.

7.2 Delivery Timelines

  • Delivery is attempted Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, excluding Sundays and public holidays.
  • Indicative timelines from dispatch: Metro cities — 3–5 working days; Tier-2 / Tier-3 towns — 5–7 working days; remote / hilly areas — 7–10 working days.
  • Delivery dates shown at checkout are good-faith estimates based on courier-partner ETDs and are not guarantees.

7.3 Tracking Your Order

  • Once the parcel is handed over to the courier, you will receive a dispatch confirmation by email and SMS, along with a tracking link.
  • You can also track your order anytime from My Orders in your PureStora account, or via the link in your order email.

7.4 Shipping Charges & COD

  • Shipping charges, where applicable, are calculated and shown to you at checkout based on PIN code, weight and courier mode.
  • Free-shipping promotions, when live, are clearly displayed on the cart and checkout pages.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) is available for eligible PIN codes for orders of ₹500 to ₹5,000, with a flat COD handling fee of ₹40 per order.

7.5 Risk of Loss

Risk of loss passes to you once the product is handed over to the delivery partner. Please inspect the package at the time of delivery for any visible damage. Damaged, tampered, or wrong-item deliveries should be reported within 48 hours as set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Section 08

Returns and refunds

This section summarises PureStora’s returns and refunds approach. Full details, including non-returnable categories, are set out in our dedicated Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8.1 Return Window

You may raise a return request within 7 days from the date of delivery, subject to the eligibility conditions in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8.2 Return Eligibility

You may return a product if:

  • The product is defective or damaged
  • The wrong item was delivered
  • The product does not match the description or image on the Platform
  • Parts or accessories are missing
  • The product is unused, in original condition and in its original packaging (for eligible categories)

8.3 Cancellation

  • You can cancel a confirmed order any time before the courier picks it up from the warehouse.
  • Once an order is picked up, in transit, out for delivery or delivered, cancellation is no longer self-serve and must be raised as a return.

8.4 Refund Methods & Timelines

  • Prepaid orders: Refund is initiated to the original payment method on approval; credit reflects within 5–7 business days.
  • COD orders: Refund is processed by bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) or UPI to the customer’s designated account within 5–7 business days of approval.
  • Store credit: Where you opt in, refunds can be issued instantly as PureStora wallet credit, redeemable on any future order.

8.5 Reverse Pickup

Reverse pickup for approved returns is arranged by PureStora at no cost to you, in line with the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Section 09

Intellectual property rights

9.1 Ownership of Content

All content on the Platform, including:

  • Text, descriptions, and articles
  • Images, photographs, and graphics
  • Videos and animations
  • Product listings and specifications
  • Trademarks, logos, and service marks
  • Website design and layout
  • Software and code

is owned by PureStora or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international copyright and intellectual property laws.

9.2 Your License to Use Content

PureStora grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • View and read content on the Platform
  • Download content for personal, non-commercial use
  • Print content for personal reference only

You may NOT:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without permission
  • Modify, translate, or create derivative works
  • Use content for commercial purposes
  • Reverse engineer or decompile any software
  • Remove copyright or trademark notices
  • Use content to compete with PureStora

9.3 Trademarks

All trademarks, logos, and service marks on the Platform are the property of PureStora or their respective owners. You may not use any PureStora marks without express written permission.

9.4 Copyright Infringement

If you believe any content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please contact us at support@purestora.com with:

  • A description of the infringing content
  • Your copyright certificate or proof of ownership
  • A statement under penalty of perjury
  • Your contact information
Section 10

Prohibited use and conduct

10.1 Illegal Activities

You agree NOT to use the Platform for:

  • Any unlawful, illegal, or fraudulent purpose
  • Violating any central, state, or local law
  • Promoting or facilitating illegal activities
  • Money laundering or terrorist financing
  • Creating, distributing, or selling counterfeit products
  • Violating intellectual property rights
  • Harassment, threats, or abusive conduct toward other users
  • Spam, phishing, or malware distribution

10.2 Deceptive Practices

You agree NOT to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent rules
  • Post false reviews or ratings
  • Manipulate product rankings or search results
  • Engage in price manipulation or collusion with other sellers
  • Use automated bots or scrapers to access the Platform

10.3 Security Violations

You agree NOT to:

  • Attempt to hack, breach, or compromise the Platform’s security
  • Access the Platform without authorisation
  • Interfere with the Platform’s operation or services
  • Conduct denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to servers or data
  • Circumvent any security measures or access controls
  • Attempt password mining or brute force attacks

10.4 Consequences of Violations

Violation of these prohibited uses may result in:

  • Immediate account suspension or termination
  • Loss of all pending orders and balances
  • Referral to law enforcement
  • Legal action and damages claims
  • Liability for harm caused to the Platform or other users
Section 11

Seller obligations and responsibilities

11.1 Seller Eligibility

To sell on PureStora, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into contracts
  • Have a valid PAN (Permanent Account Number)
  • Have a valid GSTIN if your annual sales exceed the GST registration threshold
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Have the legal right to sell the products you offer
  • Possess all necessary licenses, permits, and approvals
  • Accept responsibility for all legal compliance

11.2 Seller Registration

During registration, you must provide:

  • Your legal name and residential address
  • Valid identification (Passport, Aadhar, PAN, or Driver’s License)
  • Contact number and email address
  • Bank account details for payment settlement
  • GSTIN and PAN details
  • Business registration documents (if applicable)

11.3 Sustainability Commitment

By selling on PureStora, you commit to:

  • Selling only genuinely sustainable, eco-friendly, or ethically produced products
  • Providing truthful and transparent product information
  • Not making false, exaggerated, or misleading environmental claims (greenwashing)
  • Maintaining all claimed certifications and standards
  • Providing proof of sustainability credentials upon request
  • Complying with all environmental and sustainability claims made on your listings

11.4 Product Listing Requirements

Your product listings must include:

  • Accurate Product Description: Detailed information about materials, manufacturing, and features
  • Clear Images: High-quality photos that accurately represent the product
  • Truthful Claims: No false, exaggerated, or misleading statements
  • Material Composition: Breakdown of materials used
  • Country of Origin: Where the product is made
  • Certifications: All relevant certifications (organic, fair trade, recycled, etc.)
  • Price: Clear, final price with tax information
  • Return Policy: Your return and refund terms
  • Delivery Time: Expected delivery timeframe
  • Safety Information: Any relevant safety warnings or instructions
  • Batch/Expiry Date: For products with expiry dates

11.5 Prohibited Seller Activities

You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Listing counterfeit, stolen, or infringing products
  • Making false environmental claims or greenwashing
  • Selling products that violate laws or regulations
  • Collecting customer data outside the Platform
  • Offering illegal products or services
  • Manipulating ratings, reviews, or search rankings
  • Using deceptive or fraudulent payment methods
  • Refusing to accept returns for defective products
  • Violating customers’ privacy or intellectual property rights
  • Engaging in price manipulation or collusion
  • Using offensive, abusive, or harassing language

11.6 Shipping and Dispatch Obligations

You must:

  • Dispatch products within the timeframe specified in your listing
  • Use approved delivery partners that provide proof of dispatch and delivery
  • Maintain proof of dispatch (PoD) documentation for a minimum of 3 years
  • Provide accurate dispatch information to customers
  • Insure shipments for damage or loss in transit
  • Use secure packaging to prevent damage
  • Provide tracking information to customers
  • Respond to customer delivery issues within 48 hours

11.7 Customer Service Obligations

You must:

  • Appoint a Grievance Officer to handle customer complaints
  • Acknowledge all complaints within 48 hours
  • Resolve complaints within 1 month or as required by law
  • Respond to customer inquiries within 24–48 hours
  • Maintain customer records for a minimum of 3 years
  • Provide accurate contact information (phone, email, address)
  • Not harass or threaten customers
  • Handle refunds promptly as per your stated policy

11.8 Legal Compliance

You must comply with:

  • Consumer Protection Act, 2019
  • Information Technology Act, 2000
  • GST Laws and regulations
  • Goods and Services Tax (Input Credit and ITC Rules)
  • Legal Metrology Act, 2009
  • Standards applicable to your product category
  • Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023
  • Any other applicable central and state laws

11.9 Payment Settlement

  • PureStora will settle payments according to the agreed settlement cycle
  • PureStora may deduct applicable commissions, taxes, and fees
  • You will receive payment only to the verified bank account provided during registration
  • All financial settlements comply with RBI guidelines
  • You are responsible for paying applicable income tax and GST on your sales

11.10 Account Suspension and Termination

PureStora may suspend or terminate your selling account if:

  • You violate any provision of these Terms and Conditions
  • You engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Customer complaints remain unresolved
  • Sustainability claims cannot be verified or are false
  • You violate applicable laws or regulations
  • You fail to maintain the required standards
  • You refuse to accept returns for defective products
  • Your conduct harms the Platform’s reputation or customer trust
  • You use unauthorised payment methods or engage in financial fraud
Section 12

Consumer protections and your rights

12.1 Your Rights as a Consumer

Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to:

  • Right to Safety: Purchase safe products that do not cause harm
  • Right to Information: Receive complete, accurate product information
  • Right to Choose: Select from a range of products at competitive prices
  • Right to be Heard: File complaints and have them addressed
  • Right to Redressal: Receive refunds, replacements, or compensation for defective products
  • Right to Consumer Education: Access information about consumer rights

12.2 Product Quality Assurance

PureStora expects all products to meet:

  • Standards specified in relevant laws (IS, BIS, etc.)
  • Advertised quality and specifications
  • Safety and health standards
  • Fair and truthful representation

If a product fails to meet these standards, you may:

  • Return it within the return period
  • Request a full refund
  • File a complaint with the Seller and PureStora
  • Seek compensation for damages

12.3 Defective or Misrepresented Products

If you receive a defective product or a product that does not match the listing:

  1. Do not use the product if it appears defective
  2. Contact the Seller within 7 days of delivery with photos of the defect
  3. Initiate a return through your account
  4. Provide proof of the defect (photos, videos, or description)
  5. Await approval from the Seller
  6. Send the product back with the return label provided
  7. Receive your refund within 7–10 business days of the Seller receiving the return

12.4 Refusal to Accept Returns (Unfair Trade Practice)

Under Section 2(47)(viii) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, it is an unfair trade practice if a Seller:

  • Refuses to take back a defective product
  • Refuses to replace a defective product
  • Refuses to refund the full amount within 30 days
  • Makes false claims about “no refund” or “all sales final” policies for defective products

PureStora will take strict action against Sellers who engage in these practices.

Limitation of liability and disclaimers

14.1 “AS IS” Basis

The Platform and all Content are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without any warranties, guarantees, or representations.

PureStora does NOT warrant that:

  • The Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • The Platform will be free from viruses or malware
  • Any product will meet your expectations or requirements
  • Product quality will be as advertised
  • Delivery dates will be met

14.2 Disclaimer of Warranties

PureStora expressly disclaims all warranties, including:

  • Warranties of merchantability
  • Warranties of fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties of quality or accuracy
  • Warranties of non-infringement of third-party rights
  • Warranties regarding third-party websites or services

14.3 No Liability for Third-Party Content

PureStora is not responsible for:

  • Product listings created by Sellers
  • User reviews and ratings
  • Third-party website content
  • Links to external websites
  • Claims made by Sellers about product quality or benefits

14.4 Limited Liability

In no event shall PureStora be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
  • Damage to your device or property
  • Any special or punitive damages
  • Damages arising from your reliance on Platform content
  • Unauthorised access to your account (if you failed to protect your password)

This applies whether or not PureStora was advised of the possibility of such damages.

14.5 Sole Remedy

Your sole and exclusive remedy for any dissatisfaction with the Platform is to stop using it. PureStora will not be liable for damages or compensation.

14.6 Consumer Protection Act Rights Preserved

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. If there is any conflict between these disclaimers and the Consumer Protection Act, the Consumer Protection Act will prevail.

Section 15

Privacy and data protection

15.1 Privacy Policy

Your use of the Platform is governed by PureStora’s Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully to understand:

  • What personal data we collect
  • How we use your data
  • How we protect your data
  • Your data protection rights

15.2 Data Security

  • PureStora implements reasonable security measures to protect your data
  • We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) to protect data in transit
  • We do not store sensitive financial information on our servers
  • No method of online transmission is 100% secure

15.3 Your Consent

By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

15.4 Data Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach, PureStora will:

  • Notify affected users within 72 hours of discovery
  • Provide information about the breach and remedial measures
  • Assist users in protecting themselves from misuse of data
Section 17

User-generated content

17.1 Your Content

Any reviews, ratings, comments, photographs, or other content you submit to the Platform (“Your Content”) is subject to the following:

  • You retain ownership of Your Content
  • You grant PureStora a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use Your Content
  • PureStora may display Your Content on the Platform and in marketing materials
  • Your Content may be used for Platform improvement and research

17.2 Your Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for Your Content. You warrant that:

  • You have the legal right to submit the content
  • The content does not violate anyone’s rights
  • The content is truthful and accurate
  • The content does not contain illegal, offensive, or abusive material
  • The content does not defame or harass anyone

17.3 Prohibited Content

You may NOT submit:

  • False or misleading reviews
  • Defamatory, abusive, or threatening content
  • Sexually explicit content
  • Spam or promotional content
  • Content that violates intellectual property rights
  • Content that violates laws or regulations

17.4 Review Verification

PureStora uses technology to verify that reviews come from actual customers. Fake, paid, or manipulated reviews are strictly prohibited.

17.5 Moderation

PureStora reserves the right to:

  • Review and edit Your Content
  • Delete content that violates these Terms
  • Remove accounts that post fake reviews
  • Prevent users from posting further content if they violate rules

Anti-hacking and security provisions

18.1 Prohibited Security Violations

You agree NOT to:

18.1.1 Unauthorised Access

  • Attempt to hack, breach, or compromise the Platform
  • Access systems without authorisation
  • Gain unauthorised access to accounts or data
  • Attempt password mining or brute force attacks
  • Use stolen credentials or authentication methods

18.1.2 Automated Access

  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Platform
  • Use “deep-linking” or data mining software
  • Use robots, spiders, or crawlers
  • Use scripts or algorithms to access Platform content
  • Attempt to monitor or copy Platform data without permission

18.1.3 Interference

  • Interfere with the Platform’s proper functioning
  • Conduct denial-of-service (DoS) attacks
  • Conduct distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
  • Impose excessive load on Platform servers
  • Disrupt other users’ access or service

18.1.4 Circumvention

  • Bypass security measures or access controls
  • Circumvent encryption or authentication protocols
  • Attempt to access restricted areas
  • Attempt to view data before it is publicly released

18.2 Security Cooperation

You agree to:

  • Keep your account credentials confidential
  • Do not share your password with anyone
  • Notify PureStora immediately of unauthorised access
  • Cooperate with security investigations
  • Not attempt to test or expose Platform vulnerabilities

18.3 Consequences

Violation of security provisions may result in:

  • Immediate account termination
  • Loss of all Platform access
  • Referral to law enforcement
  • Legal action and damages claims
  • Liability for harm to the Platform or other users
  • Criminal prosecution under the Information Technology Act, 2000
Section 19

Indemnification

19.1 Your Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PureStora, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Your violation of any applicable law
  • Your infringement of third-party intellectual property rights
  • Your breach of privacy or other rights
  • Content you submit to the Platform
  • Disputes between you and another user
  • Your conduct or activities on the Platform
  • Any harm caused by your actions

19.2 Defense and Settlement

PureStora has the right to control the defence of any claim. No settlement will be made without your prior written consent.

Section 20

Term and termination

20.1 Effective Date

This Agreement becomes effective when you access or use the Platform and continues until terminated.

20.2 Termination by You

You may stop using the Platform at any time by:

  • Ceasing to access the website
  • Deleting your account (if applicable)
  • Notifying PureStora in writing

20.3 Termination by PureStora

PureStora may terminate or suspend your access at any time, with or without cause, by providing notice. Grounds for termination include:

  • Breach of these Terms and Conditions
  • Violation of applicable laws
  • Fraudulent or deceptive conduct
  • Non-compliance with sustainability standards
  • Repeated failure to resolve customer issues
  • Security threats or suspicious activity
  • Any conduct deemed harmful to the Platform

20.4 Immediate Suspension

PureStora may immediately suspend your account without notice if:

  • You violate security provisions
  • You engage in illegal activity
  • You pose a risk to other users
  • You violate intellectual property rights

20.5 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Platform immediately ceases
  • Your account will be closed
  • Any pending orders may be cancelled
  • Refunds will be issued for cancelled orders
  • PureStora may delete your account and associated data
  • Sections designed to survive termination remain in effect
Section 21

Modifications to platform and terms

21.1 Right to Modify

PureStora reserves the right to:

  • Modify, add, or remove features or services at any time
  • Change the Platform’s appearance, layout, or functionality
  • Discontinue the Platform or any features
  • Modify these Terms and Conditions at any time

21.2 Notice of Changes

Material changes to these Terms will be notified through:

  • Email notification to registered users
  • Prominent notice on the Platform
  • Updated “Last Updated” date on this page
  • In-app notifications

Your continued use after 30 days of such notice constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

21.3 No Liability for Modifications

PureStora is not liable for any adverse effects resulting from modifications to the Platform or Terms and Conditions.

Dispute resolution

22.1 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of India, specifically the laws of the State of Telangana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

22.2 Jurisdiction

You expressly agree that the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and decide all disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions or your use of the Platform.

22.3 Dispute Resolution Process

Before initiating legal proceedings, parties should attempt to resolve disputes through:

  1. Direct Discussion: Contact PureStora with the issue
  2. Grievance Officer: Escalate to the Grievance Officer
  3. Mediation: Mutually agree to mediation

22.4 Consumer Disputes

Nothing in these Terms restricts your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. You may file complaints with consumer protection authorities without going through the above process.

22.5 Venue

You irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad for any legal disputes.

Compliance with laws

23.1 Legal Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and statutes, including:

  • The Indian Contract Act, 1872
  • The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
  • The Information Technology Act, 2000
  • The Goods and Services Tax (GST) Law
  • The Copyright Act, 1957
  • The Trademark Act, 1999
  • The Competition Act, 2002
  • The Legal Metrology Act, 2009
  • The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023
  • Standards Act and other relevant laws
  • All central and state government regulations

23.2 Export Control

You represent that:

  • You are not located in any country under an embargo by India
  • You are not a national of any embargoed country
  • You will not use the Platform for any prohibited purpose
  • You will not export services to prohibited countries

23.3 Sanctions

Use of the Platform is prohibited if you are:

  • On any government sanctions list
  • Engaged in illegal trade
  • Funding illegal activities
  • In violation of trade laws
Section 24

Entire agreement

24.1 Complete Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with:

constitute the entire agreement between you and PureStora regarding your use of the Platform. These Terms supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

24.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. All remaining provisions remain in full effect.

24.3 Waiver

PureStora’s failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision. PureStora retains all rights and remedies.

24.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms or your rights under them to any third party. Any attempted assignment is void. PureStora may assign these Terms at any time.

Section 25

Sustainability standards

PureStora promotes products that meet recognised sustainability standards, including:

  • Organic: NPOP, APEDA, USDA certifications
  • Fair Trade: Fair Trade International, Fair Trade USA, Fair for All
  • Recycled: ISO 14040, ISO 14044 (Product Life Cycle Assessment)
  • Biodegradable: BPI certification, EN 13432
  • Ethical Manufacturing: SA8000, B Corp, Fair Labour Association
  • Environmental: ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), EPD (Environmental Product Declaration)
  • Sustainable Sourcing: RSPO (Palm Oil), FSC (Forestry), MSC (Marine)
  • Water Conservation: Water Stewardship Council
  • Carbon Neutral: Carbon Trust, Gold Standard

Sellers are required to provide verifiable proof of claimed certifications.

BY CLICKING “I AGREE” OR “ACCEPT” OR BY ACCESSING AND USING THE PLATFORM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT:

  • You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions in their entirety
  • You are 18 years or older and legally competent to enter into this agreement
  • You agree to be legally bound by all provisions of these Terms and Conditions
  • You understand that this is a binding legal contract
  • You have the authority to accept these Terms on your behalf
  • You accept all terms, conditions, policies, and disclaimers
Section 28

Final provisions

28.1 Equitable Relief

You acknowledge that any breach of these Terms may cause irreparable harm to PureStora. PureStora is entitled to seek injunctive relief and specific performance, in addition to all other remedies.

28.2 Survival

All provisions designed to survive termination shall remain in effect, including but not limited to limitation of liability, indemnification, intellectual property, governing law, and dispute resolution.

28.3 Interpretation

  • “Including” means “including without limitation”
  • Section headings are for convenience only
  • These Terms are personal to you and may not be assigned
  • No partnership, agency, or joint venture is created
  • No third-party beneficiary rights are created (except as expressly stated)

28.4 No Waiver

PureStora’s failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. PureStora may enforce any provision at any time.
