Bamboology

OEKO-TEX Certified Bamboo Clothing — Patented, Not Promised.

About Bamboology

Most bamboo clothing sold in India is viscose. Bamboo pulp dissolved in chemicals until what remains behaves more like rayon than anything from a plant. Bamboology, started in Noida in 2021, works specifically with 95-100% bamboo fabric because they wanted to keep what makes the material worth using natural antimicrobial properties, moisture management, and full biodegradability.

They carry OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, which means an independent lab confirmed no harmful substances in the finished fabric, not just the raw fibre going in. Two of their products hold government-granted patents: a leakproof reusable period underwear (Patent No. 566643) and a reusable bamboo diaper (Patent No. 565378), each designed to replace over 200 disposables. That level of product engineering is rare for a brand at this price point.

The range covers clothing and activewear for men, women, and children, alongside bamboo home essentials like bath towels and reusable straws, and personal care basics including toothbrushes and infant swaddles. Both patent numbers are printed on the packaging. You can verify them.

OEKO-TEX certification plus two product patents at this price point is genuinely uncommon in Indian sustainable fashion. Most brands make claims. These ones have numbers.
